Our client requires an experienced EHS Coordinator to join their FMCG site. Food safety experience would be an advantage

The company

Our client is a global supplier with a large, well established and recognised presence in New Zealand. The successful candidate will join a fast paced, diverse working environment and have the chance to develop and grow into this new role

The role

Key to this role is the knowledge and experience to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will report to and provide regional support to the EHS Manager

Duties

  • Support regional health and safety initiatives
  • Complete internal and external audits
  • Coordinate annual health monitoring
  • Facilitate injury management and return to work
  • Deliver EHS training and induction
  • Participate in and support incident investigation
  • Provide support as required to the EHS Manager

Skills and experience

  • Formal qualification in occupational health and safety; minimum Level 4
  • Food safety experience and qualification would be advantageous
  • Training qualifications would also be of benefit
  • Solid experience in a similar role
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous EHS administrative experience
