We spend significant time in getting a thorough understanding of what it is ‘you’ want. Once we have this understanding we are able to get to work for you. Our job is to align your talent with the business strategies of an organisation, but it does not stop there. Our next goal is to get the right mix. We then interview within the company to examine its values, wants and needs. It is very seldom that businesses do not know who they want; they usually feel strongly about who to hire and who to keep, and are not afraid to reject high-calibre candidates because they lack the key behaviours or skills that define their organisation. This is why our role is important in the Talent Broking, for both clients and candidates, as we are able to identify and ‘pin-point’ what behavioural attributes the client is looking for and what behavioural attributes the candidate has. Often, clients do not have access to the ‘non-hoppers’ - those who are in a role and are not actively looking. We are able to tap into these dedicated workers who may be more suitable within a position in your business as it aligns more within their career objectives. Thus we can provide you with more of a choice, without you feeling that there is a shortage of skilled workers and settling for second best. To be fair to the candidate, we will never offer a position to him or her unless we believe it is in their best personal and career interest. This way we have the best of both worlds; the client gets the candidate that is well suited and will stay long-term and the candidate gets an excellent position in which they are less likely to be tempted by any future unsolicited approaches. |
