Not to be missed – a part time opportunity in a varied, high-risk environment

A part time opportunity exists for an experienced, contemporary health and safety advisor, covering the South Auckland region for our busy client.

If you are passionate about transforming safety, working alongside operational staff and management to have those challenging conversations, but can still get your admin done, then this may be the role for you.

You’ll need to have had proven experience in a high risk, multi-site environment and be able to advise on everything from manual handling, through to machine safety and transport.
You’ll also have the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant health and safety qualifications
  • Strong investigation and analysis experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated legislative knowledge
  • Experience in Injury Management
  • Can-do attitude and effective problem-solving skills
  • Your own vehicle

The role is expected to be 3 days a week ideally (potentially 5 days), the days are your choice and you’ll have a scheduled travel plan around the region. Reporting to the Group Safety Manager, you will be well supported by a national team, who collaborate, support and share knowledge.
