Our Client – a Professional Services Firm places strong emphasis on creating the right environment for success and is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor/Consultant.

As part of the wider Risk Advisory Management Team, you will be required to provide a professional and specialist health and safety advisory service to their diverse portfolio of clients.

To be successful in this role it is expected that you have great knowledge of effectively managing health and safety risks and keen to move into a professional consultancy environment.

Duties

  • Assist with managing a diverse portfolio
  • Assist with the reviewing and development of HS system frameworks and HS strategies, procedures and processes
  • Auditing and performance assurance programs including due diligence
  • Health and safety training, including programme development and delivery
  • Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification
  • Systems and process safety management
  • Accident and Incident investigation

Skills and experience

  • Formal tertiary level diploma or degree qualification in Health and Safety
  • Lead Auditor qualification preferred
  • SafePlus Accredited Assessor preferred
  • Proven and demonstrable experience in Health and Safety Management – Government Departments
  • Solid presentation and public speaking skills
  • Proactive, intuitive and driven to succeed
  • New Zealand experience
