Our client operates within the public transport sector as one of the largest operators of urban bus services in NZ.

The Company and Role

Operating within the public transport sector, as the largest operator of urban bus services in NZ, our client requires a qualified Health, Safety, Security and Environmental professional, with significant experience in an HSSE Advisory capacity.

Highly customer-focused, our clients’ business activities are driven by a strong values approach.

They require assistance on a fixed term basis for approximately 2 months, with an immediate commencement date.

Duties will be to maintain systems and procedures in the main, however the successful candidate will have a good head for risk management practices.

Someone who is fairly systems and process driven, along with good injury management/ return to work skillset would be ideal.

Skills and experience

  • OHS Qualifications (prefer Diploma level)
  • Transport experience is highly desirable
  • Proven success in the implementation and delivery of policy and procedures
  • Commercial and environmental awareness
  • Strong legislative knowledge, working towards best practice
  • Excellent skillset for engaging at all levels
  • Strong analytical and systems and process experience
