We are seeking a high performing Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator to assist in championing the ongoing development of HSE across operations

The role

Reporting to the Safety and Wellbeing Manager, this role’s prime function is to assist in the development of a safe and healthy workplace. An engaging and influential all-rounder, you will work as part of an experienced team in encouraging the best practises including the Permit to Work System.

Key to this role will be your proactive approach, excellent communication skills and the enthusiasm to continue your development alongside the development of the organisations health and safety culture.

Duties

  • Facilitate the Permit to Work System alongside all relevant stakeholders
  • Assist with all areas of OHS and Environment across the business
  • Review and coordinate the Contractor Management system for H&S
  • Aid with Risk Management processes including emergency procedures
  • Ensure compliance and legislation with environmental requirements

Skills and experience

  • Relevant OHS qualifications are preferred
  • Similar experience in a high-risk environment is preferred
  • Permit Issuer certification is an advantage
  • Microsoft Office proficient with strong admin skills
  • A co-operative team player
