Professional services firm seeking a Senior Manager – Health and Safety.  Provide consulting service, including business development within the wider Auckland region.

Our client is a highly respected professional organisation who provides services to SME’s, large corporations, multi-nationals, Government agencies and private individuals.

As part of the wider Risk Advisory Management Team, you will be required to provide a professional and specialist health and safety advisory service to their diverse portfolio of clients.  In particular you will assist them to understand their health and safety obligations, with a particular focus on their governance level responsibilities.

To be successful in this role it is expected that you have extensive knowledge of effectively managing health and safety risks within a consultancy environment.

 Duties

  • Manage a diverse portfolio
  • Reviewing and developing WHS system frameworks and WHS strategies, procedures and processes
  • Auditing and performance assurance programs including due diligence
  • Health and safety training, including programme development and delivery
  • Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification
  • Systems and process safety management
  • Accident and Incident investigation

 Skills and Experience

  • Formal tertiary level diploma or degree qualification in Health and Safety
  • Lead Auditor qualification
  • SafePlus Accredited Assessor
  • Proven and extensive experience in Health and Safety Management and Performance Assurance, including within a consulting environment
  • Advanced presentation and public speaking skills
  • Proactive, intuitive and driven to succeed
  • New Zealand experience
