About the role

Reporting to the General Manager of People and Culture you will work to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone delivering these services out in the community. The major risks include manual handling of patients, lone working in vulnerable environments, road safety and all the other incumbent risks of workers in the health services. As a member of the Accredited Employer Programme you will ensure that all procedures and processes are in place to maintain accreditation and improve WSMP audits. The role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management, from reporting to the executive team to building engagement with remote teams delivering care.

Skills and experience

  • Proven safety experience in an organisation delivering services to the public
  • Diploma in OHS or similar level of qualification
  • Experience of operating an Accredited Employer Programme
  • Ability to engage at all levels
  • Experience improving employee engagement
